Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan shot to death, police say
BOGALUSA, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana rapper, Javorius Scott, 24, referred to by his stage name as JayDaYoungan, was shot and killed in his old neighborhood of Bogalusa, La. on Wednesday night.
The rapper was known for a portion of his famous tunes like "23 Island", "Catch Me in Traffic", and "Sloppy Situation'".
Police say a nearby relative recognized as Kenyatta Scott, Sr. was additionally harmed in the episode.
Not long before 6 p.m. that night, police got a called of a shooting in the 600 block of Superior Avenue.
Officials answering the scene expressed one casualty was taken to Our Lady of the Angels Emergency Room.
A subsequent casualty, still on the scene, was fundamentally injured and treated on scene by EMS, then, at that point, shipped to the trauma center.
